Paige Missed SmackDown Live This Week

Speaking of this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, AJ Styles reunited with his old friends Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to take on the team of Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, and Aiden English in the main event this week. Be back here tomorrow for the full Best and Worst of Smackdown Live column.

Big Cass crashed The Miz’s Miz TV segment Tuesday on Smackdown Live, robbing fans of their chance to see the A-Lister meet Daniel Bryan face-to-face for the first time in years.

The seven-footer proceeded to be The Miz’s guest on Miz TV and explained that Bryan took the spotlight away from his return to the ring from injury and he wasn’t going to let anyone overshadow him ever again.

As for Bryan? Turns out that he’d been attacked earlier in the night, leaving him out for the count and unable to answer the call of The Miz. Peyton Royce pinned Lynch with a roll-up, giving Asuka a loss in her Smackdown debut. The in-ring contract signing on SmackDown with Carmella, Flair and Renee Young ended in chaos and Carmella forgot to sign.

– Carmella repeatedly showed a highlight video of herself and tried to make the crowd cheer for her. Charlotte Flair interrupted and slammed Carmella’s head on a table and flipped it over onto her. The match was supposed to be between Sheton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy but Randy Orton interrupted Hardy’s entrance.
